A happy couple were given a first dance as husband and wife to remember as music superstars Ed Sheeran and Johnny McDaid took to the stage to perform for them.
The wedding took place at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel and it was McDaid’s sister Brid who was making her vows along with new husband Sandy.
The couple enjoyed a wonderful ceremony and the wedding reception was kicked into action when international music star Sheeran performed with McDaid and his band Snow Patrol.
They played Snow Patrol’s massive hit Chasing Cars, before also playing Sheeran’s track Tenerife Sea and an energetic rendition of Stevie Wonder’s Superstition.
Beech Hill Country House Hotel Manager, Conor Donnelly, said: “We enjoyed a wonderful day to celebrate the beautiful garden wedding of the happy couple, Brid and Sandy.
“The sun was out in force and so were the stars who wowed the guests with their talent and crowned off what was a fantastic wedding celebration here at the Beech Hill Country House Hotel. The wedding guests were treated to very special performance which was fitting for such a great occasion.”
Sheeran and McDaid weren’t the only celebrities in attendance as Friends star Courteney Cox and her daughter Coco Arquette were also joining in the celebrations.
Sheeran and McDaid’s performance was recorded by one of the delighted onlookers, and the video is proving to be a big hit online.
