Famous New York City landmarks were taken over by a flash mob of Irish dancers, who delighted passers-by with their fantastic, energetic performances.

The dancers performed in places such as Washington Square Park, Union Square, Times Square and Bryant Park.

They are the cast of Studio2Stage which helps talented dancers take the steps into professional dancing.

The video of the performances can be found on TheFusionFighters YouTube channel and has gone viral.

The description on the YouTube page says: “The Studio2Stage experience, gathers together Irish Dancers, Musicians & Singers who want to break into the touring show industry. As part of the very first year they included ‘Mission2Manhattan’.”

The dancers created an Irish dance compilation called ‘Mission2Manhattan’. It features over 80 dancers who are hoping for a career in Irish dancing.

Their performances were a mixture of Irish dance fused with a number of other styles.

Good luck to the talented guys and girls, judging by the dancing on display in the video, we could be looking at some of the stars of the future.
