A happy couple were given the perfect surprise on their wedding day as dozens of top Irish singers appeared from the congregation and burst into song.
The unexpected performance has been uploaded online and is gathering thousands of views under the title of ‘Flashmob – Catholic style’.
The uplifting video was filmed during the wedding of Patricia Doogan and Neil Swan in Kincasslagh, Co Donegal.
As they approached the alter, the congregation behind them burst into song, with several famous faces emerging from the crowd to join the happy couple at the front of the church.
Some of singers that took part included Daniel O’Donnell, Derek Ryan, Tony Kenny, Shaun Cuddy and Tony Allen.
They each sang a verse of the hymn How Great Thou Art to give Patricia and Neil a wedding day they will never forget.
