The patrons of a Dublin pub were treated to some unexpected house entertainment when the young barman sang a beautiful rendition of the classic Irish folk song The Rare Ould Times.
The Celt Bar is proudly promoting the voice of their talented worker, known only as Donncha.
The young man adds a little pleasure to his working day by singing the popular old Dublin tune while serving drinks to customers.
One of the drinkers in the pub recorded the performance and the Celt Bar has posted it online.
The video shows Donncha sing the verses to The Rare Ould Times, and then the whole pub joins for the chorus.
Donncha has received plenty of praise for his soothing tones, as well as his warm personality.
One person wrote: “Amazing got shivers listening to this.”
Other comments included: “Love his voice and this song”
“Brilliant he would get a crowd going”.
“He is a beautiful singer”.

The video is reminiscent of another similar story where the barman of a Cork pub became an online hit, after singing beautifully while carrying out his bar duties.
John Horgan, of the Crossroads Bar, was so well received online that he ended up recording a single to raise money for charity.
Perhaps there will be something similar in store for this Dublin barman.
