The best places to work in Ireland have been named for 2020 following the annual study carried out by greatplacetowork.ie.
The study considers all number of factors about a workplace, such as respect, credibility, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
Staff at every company that took part in the study were surveyed asking to rate their employers on all sorts of aspects.
The surveys are conducted anonymously to encourage workers to be honest about their workplace.
The co-founder of greatplacetowork.ie has the following statement published on the site:
“A Great Place to Work is one where:
you trust the people you work for,
have pride in what you do,
and enjoy the people you work with.”
The companies surveyed were split into three categories based on the size of the business.
Biopharmaceutical company Abbvie was named as the best large company to work at in Ireland. It has staff spread across its three manufacturing facilities in Sligo and Cork, as well as two offices in Dublin.
Meanwhile, IT and cybersecurity experts Cisco was named as the best medium-sized company to work for, and economic research firm Esri Ireland was the best small-sized business to work for.
