Irish pub creates brilliant video to promote its 'partner drop-off' service

With life starting to inch closer to normality, many people are heading into town for some shopping… and maybe a pint.

What if you’re out with your partner and can’t decide which activity you would prefer?

Well last year an Irish pub came up with the answer and created a brilliant Christmas video to promote its ‘partner drop-off’ service for couples when out doing their shopping.

The video was created by Chris Dineen, who works at Reardens Pub in Co Cork.

The short film opens with Chris walking along with his girlfriend Leah carrying lots of bags of Christmas shopping.

The two stop outside Reardens Pub and Chris is attracted the bright lights and Christmas music coming from inside.

He looks hopefully at Leah, who nods in approval allowing him to go and spend a little time inside while she continues shopping.

Inside Reardens Chris enjoys a beautifully poured pint of Guinness, before taking part in all sorts of fun activities including playing pat-a-cake with the bar staff.

Later on in the video Chris is taking a well earned rest in the pub when Leah returns from her shopping to pick him up.

She hands over her shopping bags for Chris to carry and the couple leave Reardens and head for home.

The video has amassed thousands of views online and many people have commented that the ‘partner drop-off’ service is just what they need ahead of Christmas.
