Traditional Irish surnames have become fashionable first names in America for new-born babies according to the birth records of 2015.
The Social Security Administration in the US announced the most popular baby names from last year.
There were few surprises in the top ten boys’ and girls’ names, but a look further down the records revealed several old Irish last names are now being used as first names for new babies as reported by msn news ireland.
The report by msn revealed that in a few years’ time there will be hundreds of Brennans, Flynns, Quinns and Gradys running round in US schools.
