Ireland will be represented in the live shows of this year’s X Factor and our boys Sean and Conor Price have a real chance of winning the whole thing.
The teenage brothers have entertained throughout every stage of the competition with their creative performances and likeable personalities.
They have sang renditions of classic songs, and also performed their own material to the judges.
Now, they will sing live every week as the show begins the rundown to the final.
The last hurdle for the boys was the Judges Houses, which involves six acts being cut down to three by each judge following a final audition in their swanky pads.
Sean and Conor, in the groups category managed by music mogul Simon Cowell, were flown to the south of France to perform.
Cowell invited former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole to assist him with his decision.
The boys sang What About Us? by Pink and totally nailed the performance.
Cowell told the lads: “Great, that was so good, that’s the best I think you’ve sang.”
Cole, who was seeing the boys for the first time, added: “They’re so natural and confident, cool.”
Cowell also complimented the brothers on the connection they have between each other, to which Conor joked: “It comes together after 15 years!”
The lads made the cut along with Scottish sibling trio The Cutkelvins, and Watford boyband Rak-Su.
