A young schoolboy in Northern Ireland brought home a note from his teacher about the homework he had to complete over the Christmas holidays, and it will warm your heart.
The young boy’s mother found the note in her son’s schoolbag and posted it online to share the goodwill message.
The note, that was handed out to all the kids in the teacher’s class, had a list of instructions of the ‘homework’ to be completed over the festive period.
The note read:
Primary 1 Christmas Homework
During the Christmas holidays your teachers would like you to:
-
Spend time with the people you care about
Do the things that you enjoy
Eat food that you love
Watch your favourite programme or film
Make somebody laugh or smile
Do something nice for somebody else
Visit your favourite place
Play with your toys
And finally…
Come back to school ready to learn!
Have a lovely Christmas and see you in 2020!
The boy’s mum was so touched she took the photo and posted it online with the message: “The 4-year-old came home with this in his school bag today, yay! No homework until the new year. Whoop whoop! That’s the way it should be.”
Many people on Twitter were happy to hand out praise to the kind wishes from the schoolteacher.
