People in Ireland now use their mobile phones more than any other country according to a recent survey. Another interesting detail is that for the first time, we are now using our phones more for the internet, than for making calls and texts. The research was carried out by Statcounter, a Dublin based analytics company.

People hoping to find out more about their family history have a great opportunity to improve their skills as the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is offering a free online course in genealogy. The course lasts for six weeks and participants are advised to spend at least four hours per week on their studies.
