UFC superstar Conor McGregor has released a promo video to showcase the inside of his newly renovated Dublin bar.
The Irish fighter, known as the Notorious, purchased the Black Forge Inn in Dublin in 2020 and has spent around €1m on a refurb and is now preparing for the grand opening.
As the Irish public look forward to being invited back inside our pubs for drinks and food, they were given a sneak peek inside McGregor’s establishment.
The Instagram post features a promo video that takes the viewers around the bar and shows off some of the drinks and cocktails available.
The video captioned from McGregor says: “Introducing Dublin, Ireland’s finest public house, The Black Forge Inn.”
The video shows that the renovation on the bar, which McGregor bought for €2m, has been a lot of hard work but the results are impressive.
The Black Forge Inn looks a great place for friends and family to unwind and relax and enjoy some top-quality food and drinks.
In fact, like McGregor, the pub management are not shy about blowing their own trumpets.
Their official Twitter account tweeted: “World Class Cocktails, In A World Class Venue, Using World Class Spirits – The Black Forge – A World Class Experience Coming Soon 05.07.21.”
McGregor’s Irish whiskey brand Proper No Twelve is featured heavily in the promo video and many of the pub’s signature cocktails are made using the spirit.
Unfortunately, the ‘Notorious’ cannot be present at the grand opening because he is in America preparing for a rematch with US fighter Dustin Poirier, who beat him by KO in the Octagon in January.
However, the Black Forge Inn is in safe hands despite McGregor’s commitments elsewhere.
His long-time partner Dee Devlin works for the holding company which owns the pub along with various other businesses in Ireland.
