Legendary broadcaster David Attenborough is returning to our screens to narrate the latest epic wildlife documentary to add to the BBC’s collection.
The show is titled Seven Worlds, One Planet and focuses on the incredible natural world in each of the seven continents.
The BBC has become the world leader in wildlife documentaries over the past decade with its catalogue of outstanding series showcasing the wonders of the natural world.
Planet Earth, the Blue Planet, The Hunt, The Frozen Planet and Dynasties are some of the leading titles in the collection, and all have been viewed by people all around the world.
Each one is narrated by David Attenborough, who is know worldwide as the voice of wildlife documentaries.
The new series promises to maintain the sky-high standard set by the producers, camera-people, musical arrangers and of course Attenborough himself.
The BBC describe Seven Worlds, One Planet as follows:
“Millions of years ago, incredible forces ripped apart the Earth’s crust creating seven extraordinary continents. Seven Worlds, One Planet, presented by Sir David Attenborough, will reveal how each distinct continent has shaped the unique animal life found there.
“This series will feature remarkable, new animal behaviour from all the continents including the baking plains of Africa and the frozen waters off Antarctica. In Asia, the biggest of all continents, we will showcase life at the extremes, whilst in Europe we will reveal surprising wildlife dramas hidden right alongside us.”
