The video for Ed Sheeran’s traditional Irish music inspired song ‘Galway Girl’ features a number of Irish stars.
The song, which features on Sheeran’s mega-selling album ÷, is already a favourite around the world and people love the Saoirse Ronan starring video.
It was shot in Galway and Dublin and shows the singer coming off stage at the end of a concert and heading straight for the Irish pubs, starting with Galway’s O’Connell’s Bar.
The video also features comedian Tommy Tiernan, hardman actor Peter Coonan and folk band Beoga, who co-wrote the song.
The most famous face (apart from Sheeran) is Oscar nominated star Ronan, who takes Ed by the hand and leads him on an adventure around the town.
The video was directed by Jason Koenig, and shot by Sheeran – which allowed us to see his night unfold from his point of view.
