An online commentator has summed up quite brilliantly the three things men should have learnt by the time they reach 30.
With a little caution, this 32-year-old reporter goes on…
The post was part of an Ask Reddit thread, in which male users were invited to say ‘What are the most important things you learned in your 20s?’.
There were numerous posts offering the biggest life lessons men should have learnt by the time they reach the big 3 – 0, but one poster, Stellarific, summed it up quite brilliantly.
The post attracted thousands of views and was spotted by Irish men’s website joe.ie.
So what did Stellarific have to say? What are the most important things men should have learned in their 20s?’
“No one cares about you – In the sense that you don’t need to worry about what others think or say about you, because everyone’s going through life in their own way. Do your thing, the way you want to, and I promise you no one will judge.”
“If you want to do something then just do it. Future you will be happy you did, and you won’t live with regret. Your 20s are a good time to take risks while your responsibilities are not too high.”
“Get in the habit of being healthy and exercising. Again, future you will thank you.”
Wise words indeed. Most men over 30 would have to say Stellarific has got it spot on.
