James Corden welcomed pop superstar Gwen Stefani on to his Late Late Show and the pair enjoyed an epic sing-song in his popular feature Carpool Karaoke.
The journey also included the pickup of two Hollywood legends who were happy to join in with the singing.
Corden has been a revelation as the host of the Late Late Show since he succeeded Craig Ferguson in 2015.
One of the major reasons for his success is his inventive and entertaining sketch of Carpool Karaoke which involves him and a pop star singing along to their hits whilst driving around Los Angeles.
Gwen Stefani is the latest in a long line of music megastars to hop into Corden’s car. Previous Carpool Karaoke participants include Mariah Carey, Elton John, Justin Bieber, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Lopez and One Direction.
There is no doubt that Corden is able to attract the world’s top stars to appear on his show.
This video shows the British funnyman singing along with Gwen Stefani to some of her biggest hits including Don’t Speak, The Sweet Escape, Used To Love You and Rich Girl.
Between songs the pair also engage in small talk and Corden asks 46-year-old Stefani how she keeps her youthful appearance.
Corden then realised that he needs to have four people in the car to be allowed to drive in the carpool lane in LA.
He gets out his phone and looks through his contacts for someone to call and jokes: “This guy, he’s got nothing to do, he’s always around.”
The mystery guest then joins Corden and Stefani in the car and brings along another superstar with him.
The four then turn the radio back up and enjoy another epic sing-song.
