Take a look at this wonderful video of three Irish students performing a haunting rendition of Leonard Cohen’s timeless classic Hallelujah.
Muireann Forde and Fiona Ní Aidhne covered the vocals beautifully with fantastic harmonies and Rachel Murphy played flawlessly on the piano.
It is no surprise that the performance became a big hit online when it was posted in 2015.
The three ladies are student teachers at St Patrick’s College in Dublin and if this video is anything to go by, singing lessons will be a real treat for their future pupils.
Take a look at the video for yourself below.
It is not the first time that Hallelujah has been an online hit for an Irish singer.
In April 2014 priest Father Ray Kelly delighted a happy couple on their wedding day by bursting into song with a special personalised version of the song.
You can see the video here. It was viewed millions of times online and led to Father Kelly producing an album.
