American rock stars the Foo Fighters helped to make a young Irish boy’s dreams come true as they invited him onstage to perform with them.
The five-year-old lad named Taylor went to see the band in Belfast. It was the first music gig he had ever attended.
And it would seem that all future gigs he goes to will have an awful lot up to live up to after legendary front man Dave Grohl spotted him in the crowd.
Taylor was holding up a sign that read: “I’m Taylor, aged five, first ever gig.”
Grohl called him up to the stage and asked him to show the 35,000 crowd how to dance. Taylor was more than happy to oblige.
He strutted his stuff across the stage as Grohl and the rest of the band played the chords to their hit ‘All My Life’.
Grohl then continued singing the song as Taylor danced his heart out for the crowd. As the song reached its climax Grohl told the crowd to follow Taylor’s lead as he had shown them how it was done.
The audience was suitably impressed with the young star and give him a huge cheer.
Taylor’s mother Nikki took to social media to thank the band for providing her family with ‘lifelong memories’.
She posted to Twitter: “Our Taylor’s first ever gig. Thank you to Foo Fighters and to all the staff and crowd. You are all so amazing. Insanely proud of our wee rock star. Lifelong memories made at Vital Belfast last night.”
