Comedy star Emily Atack has tweeted her love for the city of Belfast, after she was offered a surprise accompaniment to her breakfast porridge.
The Inbetweeners actress was in the Northern capital filming for her 2019 role in the CBBC comedy Almost Never.
She tweeted her love for Belfast after she had been offered some whiskey with her porridge while sitting down for breakfast.
Atack didn’t specify which café or hotel she was in at the time, although many people have speculated online as to where such a breakfast can be found in Belfast.
Just been asked if I’d like some Irish whiskey on my porridge. I bloody love Belfast.

However, she also tweeted her disappointment that there were no hash browns available on the breakfast menu.
If you head for the cereal at a hotel breakfast and don’t make a beeline for the hash browns, you’ve completely embarrassed yourself.

In recent years she has turned her talents to stand-up comedy, and her show Talk Thirty To Me has proven to be a big hit.
