Irish comedy team Foil Arms and Hog have created a video poking fun at politicians and their behaviour when campaigning before an election.
Ireland will hold a General Election on Friday 26 February and like all politicians around the world, the party leaders are doing all they can to get the public on their side at this crucial time.
Foil Arms and Hog created the sketch to mock the behaviour of politicians and how they sometimes change their policies to suit any given scenario.
They appear as opposing TDs being interviewed on radio ahead of an upcoming election.
The competitive spirit is set immediately as the radio host welcomes both men into his studio and the one-upmanship is evident in their greetings.
The discussion gets going with the issue of anti-social behaviour and how best to deal with it. One of the candidates agrees with every suggestion made by the host, even though they are opposite solutions, much to the annoyance of his rival.
The candidate then says: “I have been out there and I have spoken to the man on the street and I have to say, ‘I agree with them’.”
The presenter then asks him: “Which one?” and he replies: “All of them.”
Despite his ridiculous statements the politician manages to get the radio host on his side by offering him a free drink in his local pub.
The video has created quite a stir on YouTube with thousands of views and several comments.
