Dublin has been named as one of the top 10 cities for travel in Europe by Love Holidays.
The Irish capital won 23 travel awards altogether and was named as the fourth best city for tourists in Europe.
The travel agency took data from around 3,000 travel awards handed out by 20 different organisations to create the combined awards for cities across Europe.
Dublin had received a total of 23 awards from the compilation of data, making it the fourth-best European city for tourists.
There were six main factors for which the awards were handed out. These were travel, hospitality, destination, business, entertainment and conservation.
In a complex system of rating cities based on the awards they have received over the past five years, Dublin ranked fourth overall across all criteria.
It was the number one for business travellers, having received seven awards in that category, way ahead of Venice in second place with just five awards.
Other European cities that ranked highly across all the awards categories were London, Paris, Antalya and Lisbon.
Elsewhere in the report it revealed that Dublin Airport is the fasting growing in all of Western Europe.
It grew by 59% in the five years of the data studied, making it most improved in Western Europe, and second only to Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow, which has grown by 67% over the same period.
The award is another to add to the vast collection that Dublin has received over the years.
It is the most visited city in Ireland and welcomes people from all over the world every year.
There are countless attractions to be found within the city such as the Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, the National Museum of Ireland and many more.
