Man dies after car crashes into South Dublin road barriers

A 35-year-old man has died and another aged 32 is seriously ill after a road crash in South Dublin.
Both men were in a car which collided with road barriers on the Naas Road shortly before 6am on Sunday.

The single vehicle accident happened near the junction with the Long Mile Road.
The 35-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at St James’s Hospital in Dublin.
Gardai said the road was expected to remain closed until about 11am so Forensic Collision Investigators could carry out a detailed examination of the scene .
Diversions are in place.
