Fusion Fighters have long been one of the top names in Irish dancing. They have created numerous fantastic videos that have spread across the internet like wildfire, and they are regular performers at the various award ceremonies and events that celebrate Irish dancing.

We asked Chris Naish, the founder and creative force behind Fusion Fighters, to tell us a little more about the camp.
He said: “Well Fusion Dance Fest by Fusion Fighters (AKA Our Summer Camp) is now in its third year and takes place at Limerick Institute of Technology & Millennium Theatre.

“It was amazing that in just two years of having the camp we had an international cast of over 10 different nationalities in 2017, ‘Fusion Dance Fest’ is already fast becoming the perfect meeting hub for dance enthusiasts and creatives from around the world.

“This year’s camp is jam packed with workshops taught by show stars, renowned choreographers and of course the members of the ‘Fusion Fighters Crew’.

“Whether you are training for the competitive or professional stage, Fusion Dance Fest really does give the confidence boost and performance skills needed to propel dancers to the next level.”

As a world-class Irish dancer himself, Chris knows the importance of training alongside the best and all learning from each other.

He is keen for his next generation of Irish dance stars to showcase their skills to the world.

He added: “A massive part for me is to provide professional performance opportunities for of my cast members.
“In previous years that has included appearances on The Late Late Show RTE1, Nolan live BBC NI, Fleadh TV, Bloc TV4, and this the third year in a row performing as the entertainment at the CLRG Irish Dance World Championships.

“The standard is growing each year but we also pride ourselves on building a community and making it inclusive for a range of levels and ages. This year our camp is going to be even bigger and better, don’t miss out on the world’s most diverse Irish dance camp and apply today!
