My name is Breda Canty, I am from Lixnaw in North Kerry. I got in to photography about 7 years ago when I entered my first photography competition, with the prize money from that competition I bought my first DSLR camera.
Up until last year I ALWAYS used Auto. I am now trying to “Master” Manual!! I joined Listowel camera club 2 years ago.
My all time favorite kind of photography is Street photography. I found that I didn’t have ANY photos of Landscape without having a person in the shot also!!
So I have been flat out taking landscape photos all summer without people in the shot. Kerry is an AMAZING County to photograph, and I count myself very lucky to live in such an amazing part of the world.
