Two men have been arrested in connection with a parkland sex attack on a woman, gardai said.
The pair – in their late teens and early 20s – were detained in the Ronanstown area of west Dublin.
They are being questioned about an attack on a woman involving three men beside the Newlands Road area of Clondalkin at about 3.20am on Thursday.
The woman, in her early 30s, was believed to have been walking home with her bike when she was set upon by the group, pulled into the parkland and sexually assaulted.
The scene of the attack was sealed off and the woman was treated in hospital.
The two suspects are being held at Lucan Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
“Investigations are continuing,” a Garda spokesman said.
