The body of a pensioner swept away in flood water has been found in Co Monaghan. Police recovered the body of Ivan Vaughan, 70, around 10 metres from his car in Corraghdown, near the village of Glaslough.

The Irish Government has fallen short on commitments to help refugees, a coalition of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) has claimed.
