Body of woman found on rocks at Dublin bay

Gardai are appealing for help to identify a woman whose body was found washed up on rocks in Co Dublin. She was discovered at Scotsmans Bay, Sandycove, on Thursday.

Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin has condemned the latest gangland-style murder and warned criminals that violence will be their downfall. Noel Duggan, nicknamed “Kingsize” for his prolific cigarette smuggling, was shot dead in his Mercedes in the driveway of his home in Ratoath, Co Meath, on Wednesday.
