Recruitment drive for prison guards launched

A drive to recruit more prison guards has been opened for the first time in eight years. The Irish Prison Service plans to appoint up to 120 new officers each year for the next three years.

Enda Kenny slammed for handling of proposal for all-island Brexit forum

House prices rise 6.3% over last year

House prices have increased by 6.3% in the last year, according to a new report. Although they remained stable in Dublin, rising just 1.1% compared to the 10.2% jump elsewhere, there is still a persistent divide between the capital and the rest of the country.
