A man has been wounded during a shooting in Dublin, gardai have said.
The incident happened in Shancastle Drive in Clondalkin, in the west of the city, shortly before 9pm on Monday.
Initial reports suggest it is not believed to be linked to a gangland feud in the capital.
The victim, a man in his 20s, received gunshot wounds to his leg and arm.
He was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening, according to a Garda spokesman.
The scene was sealed off ahead of a forensic examination by Garda technical experts.
Investigating gardai have appealed for witnesses.
“Investigations are continuing,” a Garda spokesman said.
