A man has died after a car went into a ditch in Co Limerick.
The single vehicle accident happened at 4.15am near the village of Cappamore.
Gardai said the man killed was aged in his late teens or early 20s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man in the same car was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
Garda forensic collision investigators have begun an examination of the crash site.
