Irish star Shane Filan joined fellow boyband legend Gary Barlow for an online duet as the pair look to keep fans entertained during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Westlife and Take That singers introduced their fans to ‘WestTake’ and performed the Richard Marx 1989 hit ‘Right Here Waiting’.
The stars also made sure to thank the frontline workers who are doing everything to keep us safe and keep the country running during this unprecedented time.
Both singers recorded themselves in their own houses due to the lockdown that is currently being imposed in both Ireland and the UK.
Barlow could be seen playing the piano as he and Filan took it in turns to sing one line at a time.
Filan posted the video of the duet to his Instagram page with the caption: “Hope this makes ye all smile guys.
“Had fun making this with @officialgarybarlow while in lockdown in my house!
“Thank you to all the front line staff all around the world for looking after us all. Here’s our ‘WestTake’ on an absolute classic tune!”
Fans were delighted with the duo’s efforts and posted their approval in the comments section of Filan’s video.
One fan said: “It really has made me smile. You both are amazing together. This is brilliant.”
Another added: “Now THATS what I’ve been waiting for for 10 days.”
A third commented: “We love you Shane and stay safe… with your family.”

It is the second time Barlow has performed an online duet with an Irish boyband star in the last couple of weeks.
The singer songwriter had previously performed the Tracey Chapman classic, Baby Can I Hold You Tonight, with Ronan Keating, whose band Boyzone had a huge hit with the song.
