The people of Ireland have shown their true romantic side, as when asked what Irish person they would most like to kiss, 70% chose their current partner.
That news will be pleasing to many husbands, wives, boyfriends and girlfriends across the country to hear that their partner would choose them over everyone else.
The questions were being asked by Multiple Sclerosis Ireland who are running a campaign to ‘Kiss Goodbye to MS’ and trying to raise funds and awareness about the condition. They are encouraging people to share a ‘red’ kiss on social media with the hashtag #kissgoodbyetoms and text SMOOCH to 50300 to donate €4.
Some of the celebrities that featured well in the survey were Steve Jobs actor Michael Fassbender who was the most desirable Irishman. Rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll came second with The Script star Danny O’Donoghue placing third for the men.
The most kissable Irish woman was actress Amy Huberman, with former Miss World Rosanna Davison and TV presenter Laura Whitmore tying for second.
Davison is a proud ambassador for MS Ireland and said: “I am delighted to act as the official Irish ambassador for the Kiss Goodbye to MS campaign.
“My uncle lived with Multiple Sclerosis for many years and so I have personal experience with the condition and understand how it can affect a person’s day-to-day life.
“I would encourage everyone to get involved and show their support for more than 9,000 people living with MS in Ireland.”
