Irish dance groups join forces to raise money for a great cause

Two groups of Irish dancers have joined forces to create a fantastic video which showcases their talents in a bid to raise money for a great cause.

Most of the dancers come from The Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance. They are joined by 15 dancers from the Phi Mu sorority at the Canadian University La Salle.

The video sees the dancers performing to great music from Anthony Davis from Studio2Stage.

It is made up of two separate performances. The first performance is by the youngsters from the Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance. They are split into three groups and led by Ryan Moran who is the creator of the campaign.

At points in the dance the three separate groups took turns to perform, while at times there was synchronised dancing that featured all of the dancers.

The other performance was by the dancers from the Phi Mu sorority. While they appeared to be in a separate place to the Fitzpatrick School dancers, the video is edited in such a way that it appears that they are all part of the same dance.

In the final part of the video the two groups merge and the Phi Mu performers take their place alongside the Fitzpatrick School dancers for the grand finale.

The dancers are raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals which raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the US and Canada.

The video was uploaded by Fusion Fighters which is a dance organisation that also has a history of using their talents to raise money for good causes such as Dance4France following the terror attacks in Paris.
