US actress Courteney Cox will travel to Ireland to undergo an extreme test of her survival skills with expert adventurer Bear Grylls.
The Friends star will join British chief scout Grylls for an episode of his survival show Wild Weekends.
Grylls is an expert in survival and has experienced various hostile landscapes throughout his career.
Grylls was born in Donaghadee, Co Down and spent much of his childhood enjoying the outdoors with his father.
He has since become a well-known figure for his various survival and adventure shows.
Wild Weekends sees Grylls put a celebrity through their paces and test their physical and mental resolve in extreme terrains.
Courtney Cox will be the latest star to spend a weekend with Grylls and push herself to the limit.
The 51-year-old star is familiar with the Irish countryside, having previously been engaged to Northern Irish musician Johnny McDaid.
Bear Grylls has had various shows broadcast in Ireland and the UK, and is now teaming up with high profile American figures to appeal to US audiences.
Other celebs to appear on the show include High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, musician Nick Jonas and Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Julianne Hough.
