James Corden will welcome one of the hottest properties in the music industry on to his Late Late Show tonight and has released a brief clip to give viewers a taste of what’s to come.
British superstar Adele will make her first appearance on the show and she was happy to take part in one of Corden’s favourite sketches – the carpool karaoke.
The clip begins with Corden speaking on the phone using several of Adele’s lyrics from her smash hit Hello.
She then joins him in the car and the two grin as they belt out Hello and later Adele’s global megahit Rolling In the Deep.
During a short break from the karaoke, Corden complimented Adele on her hair to which she replied: “I can’t work out if I should wear a ‘wig’ wig or have a weave?”
Corden burst out laughing and said: “What I love is that you’re coming to me for this advice!”
Adele has become an international sensation over the past few years with several fantastic tracks such as Chasing Pavements, Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain.
She also recorded the official song for the 2012 James Bond movie Skyfall.
Her latest album 25 sold more than 15 million copies within a month of its release.
