Ed Sheeran look-a-like serenaded by Irish rugby fans

Song writing superstar Ed Sheeran is so popular right now that even his look-a-likes receive adulation from huge groups of fans singing to them.

That was the case in this hilarious video from a Munster rugby match which saw the fans serenading a steward who had a striking resemblance to the British star.
The video was taken during the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Junior Cup final which ended in a competitive 16-16 draw.

The fans sitting in the stand noticed that the steward was a dead ringer for Sheeran so decided to sing him one of the star’s songs.
The steward stood there with a slightly embarrassed smile on his face as the crowd belted out the hit ‘Thinking Out Loud’.
At one point a man in the crowd seemed a little conflicted between the nature of the teasing and the possible awkwardness that might be being felt by the steward.
He could be heard saying: “Ah man, this is brilliant… poor fella.”
However, despite his reservations it was all done in good spirits and the steward seemed to see the funny side.
The video was uploaded to Facebook by the Munster Haka Schools’ page with the message: “Who’s looking forward to the Junior Cup Final replay? This is what happened the last time the teams met.” – and has been picked up by many Irish media outlets.
A spokesperson for the page told joe.ie: “This video sums up the Munster love affair for the steward best. This rendition was just one of many songs by Sheeran sang at games whenever the steward was on the scene.”
