A man has died in a suspected workplace accident.
Gardai said the man was discovered at Navan Retail Park in Co Meath at about 6.30am on Tuesday.
Emergency services were at the scene for a number of hours after the alarm was raised.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified.
It is understood a large steel security gate at the entrance to a delivery section of the retail park collapsed on top of the man.
He was in his 40s, gardai said.
His body was taken to Navan General Hospital, where a post-mortem examination was to take place.
