Irish culture truly spreads itself into every corner of the world – as shown in this great video of a trad band playing during a train journey in China.
The talented musicians brightened up the journey for themselves and their fellow passengers with a few folk songs.
Train journeys can be long and arduous but not with this gang on board.
The train was travelling across China to Xining, and to pass the time the band got out their instruments for a bit of a trad session.
It definitely brightened up the journey, and all local commuters joined in the fun clapping their hands and stamping their feet.
Many of them got out their mobile phones to record the fun, and one of the videos made it way to the Irish Independent.
