Shocking video shows man hit by a bus – before getting up and going for a pint

An incredible video shows a man getting up and going for a pint – after being hit by a bus!

Simon Smith was walking along the pavement when a bus came hurtling around the corner. The bus was going too fast and seemed to be out of control.

Simon saw the bus too late and it crashed straight into his back and sent him flying onto the wall. The bus mounted the pavement but carried on speeding along until it was out of shot.

The incident happened on Gun Street in Reading and was captured on camera at a near perfect angle to see the shocking impact in all its horror.

However, somehow the man was not hurt by the bus and just picked himself up, dusted himself down and, rather than going to hospital, walked into the nearby Purple Turtle pub.

So far nobody has been arrested but Reading Buses told the BBC that it was an “awful incident” and that an investigation was underway.

Take a look at the video below. Warning it isn’t for the squeamish.
