Woman arrested at Dublin Airport over '250,000 euro cocaine find'

A woman has been arrested coming off a flight at Dublin Airport allegedly with cocaine worth a quarter of a million euro stuffed into sweet tins.
The 39-year-old suspect, from Portugal, was travelling to Ireland from Dubai.

Revenue officers said she was found to be carrying 3.8 kilos of the drug when she was stopped and searched.
The drugs haul was packed into three confectionery tins.
The woman was arrested at the scene and has been taken for questioning by gardai.
Revenue officials said the woman was stopped, searched and questioned as part of a routine profiling operation at the airport.
The suspected cocaine has been sent for analysis by forensic experts.
It is believed to have a street value in the region of 250,000 euro.
A Revenue spokeswoman said: “Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.”
