Microsoft and PricewaterhouseCoopers to create hundreds of jobs

Hundreds of jobs are being created by multinationals in their latest recruitment drives.
Microsoft is to hire more than 100 experienced professionals and graduates and has vacancies for another 60 interns across its divisions.
And one of the big four accountancy and consultancy companies, PricewaterhouseCoopers, is to take on 500 new staff as it expands its annual graduate recruitment programme.

Tech giant Microsoft said it was seeking a wide range of skilled workers including engineers, data analytics, programme managers, finance and sales and marketing among others.
All the positions will be based at the company’s operations centre in Dublin.
Cathriona Hallahan, managing director of Microsoft Ireland, said: “Our new colleagues will have an opportunity to influence how this vision is delivered for customers across the globe.
“Microsoft in Ireland is a global hub for many parts of our operations and development teams. That means that there are great career opportunities for people – many of whom will have a European or global role while being based in Dublin.”
PwC said its batch of recruits next year would include 200 professionals on top of its annual graduate recruitment drive, while it plans a campaign to attract talent home from abroad.
Positions are being made available in assurance, technology, digital, data analytics, cybersecurity, financial effectiveness, regulatory compliance, risk management, deals and international tax as well as financial services and fund administration.
