Man freed after assault death quiz

A man arrested over a suspected one-punch killing has been released without charge.
He was detained after a man in his late 50s died following an assault in Harold’s Cross in Dublin on Saturday.

Gardai said a man in his 40s who had been questioned over the attack has been freed and a file on the case will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are keen to speak to anyone who was between Harold’s Cross Bridge and Terenure between 3.30am and 4am on Saturday morning.
