World Champion Irish dancers put on a show for charity
A fantastic routine from a pair of teenage world champion Irish dancers has taken the internet by storm, with the video being watched over one million times.
The video sees sixteen-year-old Lisa Lavelle and Stephen Gallagher (14) perform in a hall at Rock Rose House, Co Mayo, and the footage was taken on a mobile phone.
Their performance was part of of a fundraising event for the Mayo Cancer Support Association.
Lisa and Stephen are both from Mayo and both proudly wore their county’s GAA jersey.
Their performance was not accompanied by any music, instead they generated the sound themselves with their feet on the wooden floorboards.
Throughout the dance there were whoops and cheers from audience members and the pair were given a huge cheer as the performance came to an end.
