Irish cinema goers can expect to be treated to breath taking scenes that capture Ireland’s striking Wild Atlantic Way in all its glory.
However, the footage isn’t from the latest blockbuster movie, it is a new advert by Fáilte Ireland aimed at getting the Irish public to visit the west of the country.
The 60 second advert will run in Irish cinemas throughout the summer. It is estimated that up to a million people will see the ad.
It features actor George Wendt, who played loveable Norm in Cheers, and his wife Bernadette. The couple stop by some of the points of the Wild Atlantic Way and talk about the sights.
The Wild Atlantic Way is a road trip along the West Coast of Ireland and boasts some striking scenery. More about the Wild Atlantic Way
Fáilte Ireland will also run radio and social media campaigns to promote the Wild Atlantic Way.
