Online travel site TripAdvisor has published its top ten destinations in Ireland for tourists in 2018, and it is a resounding victory for the Wild Atlantic Way.
Dublin topped the list as you might expect, but it was the cities on the west coast that have impressed travellers in recent years.
TripAdvisor’s Traveller’s Choice Awards are in their 16th year, and are determined by the millions of reviews posted on the site over the past 12 months.
Dublin maintained its place in the Europe’s top 25 cities, claiming the 23rd spot.
“This year’s awards show that Ireland’s capital is still hugely popular among travellers as Dublin maintains its place in Europe’s top 25 this year,” commented TripAdvisor spokesperson, Hayley Coleman.
