Pierce Brosnan escapes fire at his home

Irish movie star Pierce Brosnan escaped unharmed yesterday following a huge fire at his luxury Malibu home.
The James Bond actor was spotted outside the multi-million pound home in the evening as the fire services were called to deal with the flames.

The news was reported on NBC last night and photojournalist Kenny Holmes tweeted pictures of the actor looking on as the house was cordoned off.
There was considerable damage done to the property, particularly the bedroom and the garage.
It is thought that the fire started in the garage just before 10pm and was contained after 35 minutes.
Homes wrote: “Heavy smoke & fire last night from the garage of Pierce Brosnan’s Malibu home. No injuries. Damage to garage/bedroom.”
Thankfully nobody was hurt and it is not yet known what started the fire.
Brosnan is set to hit our screens again later this year with his latest film, Survivor, about an American spy.
