A classical music group transformed two of U2’S most famous songs by performing them with just a singer, cellos and percussion, and the result is quite beautiful.
The renditions of I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For and With Or Without You were arranged to mark the Irish leg of U2’s Joshua Tree tour.
Both are beautiful songs already, but to hear them performed in the completely different genre to what you are used to is truly stunning.
The band are called New Airs and are made up of the talented bunch of Rachel Voloczi (vocals), Martin Johnson, Polly Ballard, Katie Tertell, Anne Chauveau-Dhayan (Cellos 1-4), Rónán Scarlett (percussion) and Glen Austin (Electronics, arrangement and production).
