A mum has transformed her home into a shrine to the world-famous soft drink Coca-Cola.
Lillian of Glanmire, Co Cork has painted her entire house red and white and decorated it with countless ornaments and items with the Coca Cola brand.

The mum-of-two has been obsessed with collecting Coke memorabilia for nearly 30 years.
It all began when she was on holiday in Europe and drove across the border between Germany and Austria. She realised that she had been drinking the same can of Coke in two different countries, and decided to start collecting cans from around the world.

Lillian explained her hobby to Neil Prenderville of Red FM: “I collected them for about 28 years. When friends and family went off to different countries, they would bring me back some.
“They were up the loft for years and years and I thought will we do the small bedroom up in Coca Cola. Within six months the whole kitchen was done up in Coca Cola too.”

Now the entire house is painted red and white and decorated with Coca Cola products.
Lillian picks up many of her items from New York where there is a specific Coca Cola section of the Grand Slam shop in Times Square, New York.
She has also had various items specially made, such as her Coca Cola bottle chandeliers and her personalised Coke mirror.
Lillian’s obsession is not even confined to the house. The family’s outdoor summer house in the garden has also been subjected to the Coca Cola treatment.
