Audience love Irish musical wonder kid Cian Smith as he makes prime time TV debut and played the uilleann pipes

The Irish boy who wowed people across the world with his uilleann pipe skills has made his TV debut.

In 2015, a video of Cian Smith performing the ‘The Boy in the Gap’ on the uilleann pipes went viral after it was uploaded by his teacher David Power.

Cian recently won first prize in competitions on the tin whistle and uilleann pipes at the the Fleadh Cheoil in Sligo.

A few months later, the Co Waterford youngster impressed audiences on prime time TV as he appeared on The Late Late Show.

Cian wasn’t fazed by the occasion and looked like he belonged on the stage as he confidently performed in front of the studio audience.

The audience clapped along as he played and when he finished he was treated to a huge round of applause.

It looks like Cian Smith is a name to remember for the future.
