Passengers on the Aer Lingus flight to Miami were kept entertained by Irish magician and hypnotist Keith Barry.
Flights from Dublin to Miami are a new service from the Irish airline and they decided to mark the occasion with a live performance from Barry at 30,000 feet.
He was a fitting choice given that Miami is known as the ‘City of Magic’. The Waterford entertainer treated the passengers to some of is best known tricks including mind reading, card tricks and some Rubik’s Cube sorcery.
Both the crew and the customers were amazed by Barry’s performance and there were plenty of gasps and laughter as the tricks kept coming.
A spokesperson for the airline said: “Renowned for its beautiful beaches, art deco architecture and Cuban-inspired cuisine, the ‘Magic City’ of Miami marks Aer Lingus’ eleventh direct route to North America and operates as a three times weekly service from Dublin year-round.
“Together with Orlando, Aer Lingus now flies daily to Florida direct from Dublin.”
