A group of Irish lads celebrated the recent heat wave in the only way they knew how – with a pre-rehearsed musical medley in the car.
The Blue Masseys are a four-piece band from Co Carlow who perform at various weddings, parties and other functions.
They decided that to raise their profile they should put some videos online and created this one on their way home from a gig.
The medley features Noah and the Whale’s easy listening 5 Years’ Time and Katrina and the Wave’s Walking on Sunshine.
They told the Irish Independent: “We starting thinking that we needed to put up videos on Facebook to get more bookings and we saw a few videos taken in cars and we decided that we could 100% do one!
“We were on our way home from a gig and decided to shoot one there and then out of the blue!
“It went very well but we did not expect this kind of reaction at all!”
